We are a wholly owned subsidiary of International Truck & Engine Corporation headquartered in Warrenville, IL. Established in 1902, International is a leading producer of heavy-duty trucks, medium-duty trucks, severe service trucks, school buses, and medium range diesel engines. International brand trucks, buses, and service parts are available worldwide at nearly 1,000 International truck dealership locations.

The Huntsville plant is International's newest engine facility and the producer of a new generation of technologically advanced clean diesel engines for International, Ford Motor Company, and other Original Equipment Manufacturers. This Plant was designed to incorporate the most modern machine tool technologies and latest manufacturing techniques in the production of our new industry leading products. International's engines are designed to meet all Federal air emission standards and exceed our customer's performance, reliability, durability, and fuel efficiency demands.

The Huntsville plant has a non-traditional work environment where tasks are accomplished through Business Teams. Each Business Team is a self-contained unit having the information, resources, and support necessary to excel in the production of World-Class products. Individuals are empowered to take part in decision-making, take initiative, and contribute to continuous improvement within their team.

Meet Our Business Teams

• The Machining Business Team consists of three product lines: crankcase, cylinder heads, and V-6 crankshafts.
• The Assembly Business Team utilizes a non-synchronous pallet transfer line to assemble, test, paint, and trim one engine every 45 seconds.
• The Manufacturing Services Business Team coordinates product quality, facilities and environmental engineering.
• The Financial Services Business Team ensures the financial health and stability of our plant. Financial Services also coordinates the facilities Information Technology systems.
• The Human Resources Business Team manages employment processes to ensure the right mix of skills and experience to run our business.
