"At the Escobedo Assembly Plant our people are our greatest advantage because they provide the ideas for improving our trucks. The better our personnel is informed, the more likely they are to ask questions, test alternatives and make good decisions.

By managing an open-door policy and fostering an environment where honesty predominates, we have embarked on a communication effort to ensure that all staff levels are informed of the plant's and corporation's status, goals, challenges and opportunities.

We also have eight full-time employees dedicated to providing continuous training to our personnel. The training is not only on improving safety, skills and productivity, but also employees' attitude, health and general well being."

"To spend time training people on quality is key. We have three priorities. Number one is safety, the second is quality and the third is productivity. We spend a lot of time providing people with the skills and knowledge about quality so we can deliver a good truck to our customers.

And I think that the one of the most important drivers of quality is our certification in ISO-9002. All of our people know our mission, our quality policy, and the procedures to assure the quality in the product."
